when..?

when you withhold certain information, does that constitute lying? am just wondering here...

some would say it does while others would definitely disagree. the former i think would be comprised of people who are totally honest and who are incidentally utterly boring (just my opinion) and the latter by people who have a lot to hide (i.e. killers, rapists, adulterers, etc.)

so give me feedback here..when are you considered a lying sonofa..and when are you...not?

im more on the motive. and i believe nobody does not lie (double negative). then again, i believe in d machiavelian concept that the end justifies the means. that is if that "end" is for something good. as long as it does not involve killing or sexual abuse or any kind of exploitation that is no longer humane. but it's a gray area. with that relativity shit and all. criminal minds may have their own so-called cause or vendetta for committing their dreadful act. yet what is it you want to achieve here? what is your motive? fundamentally, i think we lie because we have to. because we dont want to hurt people. or because we want to help. but if your motive is not among the above, if its anything evil, then you can join the ranks of the criminals.
